02

03

Most flipped cards in the main zone wins

How to Win

The game ends in one of two ways:

  • The 5×5 main zone fills up completely. The player with the most cards flipped their way wins. Ties are possible.
  • A player cannot draw a card from their deck at the start of their turn.

Only active (face-up) monster cards in the main zone count toward the score. Out zone cards, covered cards, and block cards are excluded from the count. The maximum score for a player is 25 (all 25 cells occupied by their face-up monsters).

Core Concepts at a Glance

Cards have arrows

Monsters carry between 1 and 8 arrows pointing in the 8 compass directions. Arrows are how you flip opponent cards, trigger abilities, and win the game. Some arrows carry special ability icons.

No written text on cards

All information on a card is communicated through arrows and icons. No language barrier, no text to read mid-game.

Credits are your resource

You start with 50 credits. Each monster has a cost you pay to play it actively. Credits refill by +5 each turn. Manage them wisely.

Placing a card covered vs active

You can place a card face-down (covered) without paying the cost immediately. It activates on your next turn when you must pay. Or play it face-up (active) and it triggers all its effects right away.
